# Create a Custom Deal View and Make it your Default

## A saved deal view helps you start with the deals that matter to you.

### Create the view

 1\. Go to [CRM](https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/45820880/objects/0-3) \> [Deals](https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/45820880/objects/0-3). If **More** appears in your navigation, open it first.  
2\. Beside the view tabs, select **+ Add view** and choose a view type, such as a table or board.

3\. Give the view a clear name, such as **\[Team name\] deals**, and confirm the name.

4\. Use **Advanced filters** or the quick filters to define which deals belong in the view. For example, filter **Deal owner** to the people on your team. Add a pipeline or stage filter if your team uses a specific one.

### Make it your default

1. On [CRM](https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/45820880/objects/0-3) \> [Deals](https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/45820880/objects/0-3), open the saved view.   
   *If it is not a tab yet, select **+ Add view** \> **Add view** and find it.*
2. Drag the new tab to the **far left**. The leftmost tab becomes your default view when you return to the deal index page.
